​(1) WONG YEE CHUE (SENIOR PARTNER)
Mr. Wong Yee Chue is the Senior Partner of the Firm. He is a very
experienced litigation lawyer. He founded Messrs. Y.C. Wong in 2010
and now leads the practice with three branches and is joined by Elson
Beh Hong Shien and Eric Aloysius Augustin.
Mr. Wong Yee Chue did his law at the University of Malaya where he
obtained LL.B. with Second Class (Upper) Honours. He then did his
chambering pupilage under Dato’ Mahinder Singh Dulku at Messrs.
Mahinder Singh Dulku & Co. After that, he was retained as a legal
assistant there from 1993 to 1996.
Wong had in 1996 to 1997, worked as a legal assistant in Messrs. B.T.
Lee & Co where he handled litigation and project works.
In 1998 to 2002, Wong was made a Partner of Messrs. Wong-Chooi &
Mohd. Nor. He was in charge of the Perai branch of M/s. Wong-Chooi &
Mohd. Nor, which was one of the panel lawyers for Messrs. Kawasan
Permata Sdn Bhd, the developer for a housing development project at
Kulim known as “Kulim Square”. He also dealt with the main banks for
the end purchasers’ loans, i.e., Maybank Berhad and Hong Leong Bank
Berhad, for which Messrs. Wong-Chooi & Mohd Nor was one of the
panel lawyers.
In 2002, Wong was made a Partner of Messrs. Lim Kean Siew & Co. He
remained there till 2010 when he left to set up his own legal practice,
Messrs. Y.C. Wong.
In 2016 and 2018, Messrs. Y.C Wong expanded where Wong was joined
by Elson Beh Hong Shien and Eric Aloysius Augustin as Partners

Elson Beh did his law at Northumbria University at Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K.
where he obtained his law degree, LL.B (Hons.).
Elson then obtained the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), Second Class (Lower) from the Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board at his first siting.
He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in2010.
He has been in active practice in various areas of Civil Litigation such as defamation, contract, arbitration, construction, planning appeals, shareholders disputes, industrial accidents, employment, family law, and is

Eric Augustin did his law at Northumbria University at Newcastle Upon Tyne,
U.K. where he obtained his law degree, LL.B (Hons.) and Masters in Law, LLM

He then did the Bar Vocational Program and was called to the Bar of England
and Wales in 2009. He is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
After returning to Malaysia, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of
